For HSSD Logistics from Temse, Belgium, we built this DAF XG+ completely from A to Z into an absolute show truck. One goal: to attract attention everywhere.
DAF XG+ custom interior for Becatrans with F1 touch
Becatrans from Belgium came with a striking request: a DAF XG+ with a Dutch Formula 1 character. With Max Verstappen as inspiration, BUFFL built an interior in which sport, luxury and truck styling come together. A Belgian truck with Dutch racing influences, tightly implemented down to every detail.
Heaven and light in balance
The headliner is fully knotted and is the atmospheric centerpiece of the cabin. The side headlining and rear headlining are tightly flat upholstered, providing tranquility alongside the pronounced knotting.
F1 details in back wall and walls
The back wall and side walls are executed in a combination of flat and knotted work. Integrated into the rear wall is a large Max Verstappen logo with lighting as a real eye-catcher. Subtle Verstappen details have also been implemented in the interior for a recognizable F1 look.
Chairs, floor and comfort
The seats have been completely reupholstered in a brown base color with beige stitching that transitions from diamond pattern to clean lines. The seat frames are done in the same brown shade and feature BUFFL logos with lighting. The floor has been completely reupholstered to perfectly match the interior color palette.
Cabinets and details
The bottom plate of the front cabinet is knotted in brown and features a floor lamp with matching fringes. These fringes are also reflected in the curtains, keeping everything visually connected. The back wall cabinets are also finished with a knotted underplate in the same style.
Door panels and finishing touches
The Verstappen name is embroidered in the door panels as a subtle but powerful detail.
Result
A DAF XG+ from Becatrans with a BUFFL interior combining F1 influences and luxury truck styling. Tough, unique and with a clear nod to Formula 1. 100% BUFFL.
