From desk to steering wheel: soon Jolanda Thijssen of Harm Bergs Trading in Ysselsteyn will swap her office work for the road. A true Scania enthusiast, she can't wait to get behind the wheel of a Scania R580, complete with a completely new BUFFL interior.
From accounting to truck driving license
Jolanda has been handling the administration of the family business for five years, alongside her mother-in-law and Harm. But the passion for trucks never left her. With several Scania’s under her own management and a couple of fully refurbished ones, it started itching: driving on the road herself! Last summer she started with her truck driving license, and by the end of this year she hopes to be fully on the road, partly in addition to her work in accounting.
Her new Scania R580
The 2016 Scania R580 gets a completely new BUFFL interior inspired by the 4 Series. Everything is carefully customized: from the double bed at the top to the cabinets and upholstery in color leather chosen by Jolanda. Painted interior parts with luxurious wood accents and a complete audio system complete the cabin. This is her ultimate dream car.
