CNC / ZÜND OPERATOR – TRUCK CUSTOMIZATION

Secondary vocational education

By mutual agreement

Full-time

As a CNC/Zünd Operator, you’ll work on unique truck interiors, exterior parts, and custom solutions. This isn’t mass production—it’s custom work that goes into complete BUFFL builds.

Do you help build unique trucks, down to the smallest detail?

At BUFFL, it’s all about customization. No off-the-shelf products—just unique truck interiors, exterior parts, and vehicle solutions that combine technology, creativity, and craftsmanship.

As a CNC/Zünd Operator in Truck Customizing, you’ll work with our state-of-the-art Zünd CNC cutting machine—but that’s not all. You’ll digitally measure parts, design custom solutions on the computer, and produce parts that you’ll ultimately see incorporated into complete BUFFL builds.

One day you might be cutting out a logo for the back wall of a cabin. The next day, you might be working on cabin panels, a fully enclosed custom aluminum deck, or programming an embroidery machine.

In short: not a traditional machine operator position, but a versatile, customized technical role.

BUFFL Customizers will soon be moving from Ravenstein to our new location in Den Bosch (Empel). This role will be based at our new location.

🔧 YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

You turn an idea into a component that is accurate down to the millimeter.

  • Setting Up and Operating a Zünd CNC Machine and Preparing Digital Cutting Files
  • Digitally measuring, designing, and manufacturing custom parts
  • Working with wood, plastic, leather, fabric, and various sheet materials
  • Creating unique interior and exterior components, from cabin panels to logos and aluminum chassis trim
  • Setting Up Embroidery Machines and Monitoring Dimensions and Quality
  • Solve technical challenges and, where necessary, assist in the continued assembly of complete BUFFL trucks

No assembly line. No boring repetitive work. Instead, you get to build something different every day.

👊 THIS IS YOU

You are technically minded, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with both machines and computers. You think in terms of solutions and take responsibility.

  • Experience as a CNC operator or the motivation to learn the trade
  • Technically and digitally savvy, with a keen sense of proportion
  • Independent, organized, and proactive
  • An interest in the automotive industry, trucks, or engineering

A technical degree in, for example, mechanical engineering, metalworking, mechatronics, manufacturing engineering, or machining would be a plus.
Do you have experience with Adobe Illustrator? That’s a big plus.
Can you also weld steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum? Then you’ll definitely have an edge.

🧰 WHAT DO YOU GET FROM US?

  • Building the most impressive custom trucks in the Netherlands and beyond
  • A wide variety of materials, techniques, and tasks
  • Modern CNC equipment and professional tools
  • Plenty of freedom and opportunities to learn new techniques
  • A close-knit team of professionals, opportunities for growth, and a salary commensurate with your experience

And perhaps the best part of all: what you create behind your screen and on your computer eventually comes to life in a fully assembled BUFFL truck.
