Scania R520 bucket truck from Kent Ottesen - another BUFFL project

Some clients keep coming back with new ideas. Kent Ottesen from Denmark is a good example. Operating worldwide, but always with the same desire: trucks as sleek and unique as his business. This time, his Scania R520 rigid truck was completely overhauled at BUFFL.

Sky as a light show

The interior begins with the headliner, and it is immediately all-important. Fully buttoned up and equipped with additional lighting. Two white spotlights form the base, surrounded by sixteen red LED dots in a diamond arrangement. A powerful light pattern that gives the cabin instant character.

Tight construction in layers

The side canopies and rear canopy are tightly flat lined, creating tranquility against the rich knotwork in the canopy. The rear panel is made up of a combination of flat and knotted work. It incorporates the Scania Vabis logo, executed in a light beige color that subtly blends into the interior.

Comfort and finishing

The cabin features a completely new set of curtains and a completely new floor that provides a fresh base. The upper bed is fully knotted and is one with the rest of the interior. The door panels are fully upholstered and blend seamlessly with the style of the cabin. The front cabinet has been completely rebuilt and features a knotted bottom plate for added detail.

Additional atmosphere and technology

As a finishing touch, additional audio has been integrated for a more powerful on-the-go experience. The dashboard is finished with a sleek flat lined mat, keeping it visually calm and perfectly balanced.
