Scania S500 custom interior for Wim Driessen
Wim Driessen knows exactly what he wants and comes back to BUFFL time and again for that. This second Scania S500 has also been completely tackled and built up into an interior in which detail, use of materials and finish come together perfectly. A cabin in which every element is right.
Danish plush as a common thread
Gray Danish plush plays an important role in this interior. The back cabinet is partly covered with leather and partly with Danish plush. Vertical stitching lines are incorporated into the cabinet doors with red lighting, adding depth and radiance. The side skirts are also finished in Danish plush and feature red lighting.
Sky with light and detail
The headliner is fully knotted and features white spotlights and red LED dots in a diamond pattern. A combination that creates a powerful and atmospheric look in the cabin.
Back panel with custom logo
A custom made Scania Vabis x Wim Driessen logo was placed in the rear wall. The wall itself is sleekly flat lined and combined with accents of Danish plush to balance it all out.
Flushed details
The lower panels of both the front and rear cabinets are knotted and blend seamlessly with the rest of the interior. The door panels are also knotted and enhance the luxurious character of the cabin. The complete curtain set is coordinated with the interior, with side curtains featuring a wide piping of Danish plush.
Chairs, floor and finishes
The seat frames are backlit and finished with details in Danish plush, reflected in the lower edge. The floor has been completely reupholstered and provides a sleek base for the interior. Everything has been carried through to the smallest details.
