An exterior and interior makeover for this Scania T500.
Ottesen Transport is a family business that has been operating for nearly 70 years. What began as a livestock trade under father Peter has grown into a successful livestock transport company, now led by son Kent. His wife Charlotte manages administration and HR, and their son Frederik (22) proudly drives his own Scania. In short: a family of true workers and passionate truck enthusiasts!
We had the honor of designing the interior and exterior of their Scania T500.
The truck was fully painted in company colors. The rear bumper features 8-5-8 LED lighting, and the illuminated Michelin men on the roof rack are accompanied by high-powered spotlights. Speaking of lighting, this Scania has 2/3-series top lights on both cabin sides, a main license plate holder with LED front lighting, a smooth rear wall with LEDs, lights in the side skirts, under the front bumper, on the sun visor, and in the side panels. The 95 cm stainless steel air horns and the wheel hub spinners are stickered. Finally, the exterior was completed with double flame lamps on the roof spoiler corners, side skirts, and rear bumpers.
The interior includes quilted roof liners with lighting. Side and rear walls are part quilted, part smooth, with an illuminated logo in the rear wall. The upper windshield area is lit with curved LED points integrated into the quilted lower section of the front cabinet, which also houses two built-in speakers. The door panels are quilted, as is the bed plate which features the company logo. The engine tunnel also displays a logo. This Scania T500 features a 3-spoke steering wheel, and the dashboard has been painted, including hydro-dipped buttons.
