Exterior and Interior for this Scania T500
Ottesen Transport is a family business that has been operating for almost 70 years. What started as cattle trading under father Peter has now grown into a successful livestock transport company with son Kent at the helm. His wife Charlotte handles the administration and HR, while son Frederik (22) drives his own Scania. In short, a family of hard workers and true truck enthusiasts!
We got to work on the interior and exterior of their own Scania T500.
The truck has been fully painted in the company’s signature colors. The rear bumper is equipped with 8-5-8 LED lighting, and the Michelin men on the roof rail are also lit up, accompanied by high beam spotlights. Speaking of lighting! This Scania has 2/3 series top lamps on both sides of the cabin, a front plate holder with LED lighting, a smooth rear wall with LED lights at the back and in the side panels, and lamps under the front bumper, by the sun visor, and in the side panels. The 95 cm long air horns are made of stainless steel, and the wheel hub spinners are decorated with stickers. Finally, the exterior of this truck features dual burners on the corners of the roof spoilers, on the side panels, and on the rear bumpers.
The interior features knotted ceilings with lighting. The side and rear walls are half-knotted, half-flat, and in the rear wall, you will find a lit logo. The windshield strip is highlighted by the LED dots in the knotted lower panel of the front cabinet. This lower panel also houses 2 built-in speakers. The door panels are knotted, just like the bed plate, which also features the company logo. The motor tunnel is also adorned with a logo. This Scania T500 has also received a 3-spoke steering wheel, and the dashboard has been painted, including dipped buttons.
